#65: Re: Sneakys Sport - Centre Console - Updated 19/07/10 Author: Lowercase, Location: East SussexPosted: Tue Aug 10, 2010 12:10 pm ---- Ok, had a few things arrive in the post today ...
some acoustic carpet, and 3m di noc carbon wrap - fancied doing a few bits of trim on the interior
so, i got to work finishing off a bit of my ICE install
i wrapped my false wall for the boot
and then set about mounting the freshly refurbished amp
and mounted it in the car, few wires to attatch still but, will do that at the bournemouth meet when i get the new LG head unit wired up.
was a great colour match with the rest of the boot and looks really tidy - looks less obvious in person, so very happy with that
and... finally... a special box arrived this afternoon
soo pretty, got a mate coming over on sunday to give me a hand
thats all for now really.
ciao

I had coils on my old car and the ride was terrible, but I really want to low my 206 and coils are the best option!

ah those pics made me all nostalgic... I remember watching my car's springs being changed and then stepping into a lowered car with a brand new set of 17" 205 rims... felt like a dream... all the way till I stacked it going round a corner about a month later that'll teach me to get carried away..
Looks sweet though. Hope you have fun taking it for a spin... try to beat rush hour though!

They are AP APF Coilovers, not cheap so im hoping the ride will be good and not too bone-shattering, they will be firm but not uncomfortable apparently so, ill definately post my opinion on them.
oh dear pete hehe, ill try not to stack it anyway! im a pretty safe driver id say hehe. is a straight road home anyway hehe, few roundabouts so should be good

#75: Re: Sneakys Sport - Updated 19/08/10 Lowering! Author: Lowercase, Location: East SussexPosted: Fri Aug 20, 2010 10:19 am ---- there's no screws or velcro etc holding it in. its just the shape of it, i just angle it so the top part sticks up into the trim and push the bottom up to the side of the boot. made it with a card template first to make sure its a rele snug fit, that thing isnt going anywhere!
