I have a 206 1.1L manual 04 plate, would like to ask what oil is recommended for my car from halfords as when me friends fitted the springs, one side was fine and other side happened to leak when removing the original springs and shocks.
Leaked quite a bit and would like to ask:
What oil is good, and would i require anything else (tool/kit) and how would i replace/top up the oil as my friend is doing it on saturday for me.

Does your User Manual not give you the types of lubricants your car needs?

Do not use any old gearbox oil!
You need Total 75w 80

Does halfords sell the total 75w80? going to get some in an hour.

Nah they don't you may need to go to a dealer. Halfords just do their own oil, castrol and mobil.
