Ive currently got the Vortex alloys on my 206, but have had to put 10mm spacers on to allow fitment due to the fact i have coilovers on my car.
What standard 206 alloys would allow me to fit the wheels on without the need for spacers as im having some trouble getting the wheel nuts to sit tight in the hub?

thhat dosnt sound right mate many people have coilovers and vortexes and do not need spacers what brand are the coilies?

I'm sure Brian had to space his wheels out on his 1.1 with coilovers.
If the Vortex's don't fit I doubt any other OEM wheel will!

Theyre the ecosse coilovers, but i know theyre VMaxx iirc? Just seem to be having a bit of trouble.
The guy who fitted them said id need spacers as the wheels wouldnt fit otherwise? So i bought some 10mm spacers...had a few problems since..

sure they arent challengers? i think some people need spacers for them dont they?

small bit f thread lock if you dont plan on tacking them of anytime soon and carry a powerbar with you lol

Have you actually tried fitting the wheel without spacers then?

Theyre definately not challengers they dont have the centrecaps..and came off a 180.
I have extended bolts which were okay for a short period but dont seem to be doing the trick anymore. And as noob like as this sounds...i havent tried them without spacers but from what i can remember the wheel wouldnt spin when he tried fitting them on...

oh right ok lol.
silly question, but did they try without the spacers but with the extended bolts? they definitely wouldnt spin if they did as the end of the bolts would rub the discs.

they tried without spacers and standard wheel nuts. it was a case that the wheels caught the coilovers and wouldnt generally fit. i was just thinking if there was a different 206 alloy, like the nimrod that wasnt as wide as the vortex that could fit on without the need for spacers

Are you using hubcentric spacers? That should get it all sitting tight I'd imagine. All OEM alloys for the 206 have the same offset, so if that's the problem you'd need aftermarket if you wanted new alloys that didn't require the use of spacers.
But Vortex's are 7J, not sure of the width of Nimrods or the others sorry.

Could you explain offset to me please
I just want the car back on the road because i will never drive it knowing the wheels arent secure or if there's a problem with it. I could try fitting them without spacers and see how that goes.

Oh and im not using hubcentric spacers. Ive looked into that route but still feel as though id have the same problem.
The extended wheel nuts i fitted came loose and thought theyre could be some hub damage, but i put my mates steelie on there and tightened up and stayed tight no problem and didnt need a spacer either...im just thinking the tyre width could be something to do with it, if steelies fit with no spacer

So the problem is that the bolts actually come loose when you've got the Vortex's on? Could be the wrong bolts then surely?
