There's plenty of people on this site that slate the 206, & loads of members with other, or that have had other cars to offer an anbised opinion. |

If you want a rough idea just google the car, find out it's bhp, 0-60, etc, all the usual stats, then google other hot hatches, make a list, job done.

all depends on how heavy your right foot is, bt 0-60 is around 7.6 and top end is 140ish

For a 138? I don't even think mine could do 140mph. SP equipped cars are sloweer too!

Most GTi's will do 140mph according to their dials!
Heck - even a 1.9d could do 110mph

I doubt a GTi will reach 140, in any situation. I should think max for a standard would probably about 125 true mph. My 1.4 struggled immensely over 80ish.

my GT does 130 at 6000rpm in fifth (standard engine and exhaust) tested on a private airfield not on the streets. so dout 140 is do able

That gti test says the 180 has a 6 speed box mine hasn't??
