lets face it you dont max you car very often so top end dsnt come into it really the GTI is not the quickest small hot hatch but in reality if you can drive then you will loss most things on the road on a back road the 206 handles very well and is very controlable if you know what you doing its like a 17 year old in a M3 and jenson button in a 206 jenson will win every time on a normal road. so the answer is the GTI is as quick as the driver

The GTi is quick enough. I bought one at 21 (from a 1.1) and it kept me entertained for nearly 3 years.

Erm, asking people on their opinion on the car they own it is a bad way to get results. Who is going to turn around and go "oh it's slow as crap* and gets beaten but <insert car list>" etc? It's like going on a chelsea forum and asking who the best football team is...

*It isnt slow as s**t for the record Razz

The GTi is s**t and slow Laughing

The 180 is alot better.

Coming from a C2 owner Laughing Razz

Coming from a C2 owner, whose car is just as, if-not faster than a GTi Wink

Ive driven the GTi and 180 so i can compare them both Razz

I did some of my own research. My scale electrix set CAN drive upside down... I don't think the GTI can...

And Dabarash, you're wrong. My ferrari is mega slow... I mean, yeh, its fast for like a few seconds... but then you have to wind it up again!

I flew past a ferrari the other day, what a total "noob" he was.

It was parked.

A car that weighs more, has less power and less torque but is possibly faster than a 206 GTi??? No chance.
