A car that weighs more, has less power and less torque but is possibly faster than a 206 GTi??? No chance.

Yea, think you should look up the facts first before you type!! the C2 weighs less than the 206 and and is exactly the same 0-60 and a few mph short top end!!

What does all this s**t matter,

OP the engine is 140bhp, 0-60 in around 8 seconds in the Gti (although 0-60 times are all bull).

Can be modified but will probably give you some problems when you start.

They are pretty quick but as said about the same as 1.8 corsa or C2's (but not as fast as Mattie McRae's above )

The vts is most definately not quicker than a gti! 100 on the clocks is most likely about 87 true mph. And who cares what beats what. There will, 99.9% of the time, be someone who is faster than you anyway. Always is.

What I'm saying is. Don't go chasing numbers. Chase feelings. What you enjoy driving is much more important that who you can beat and what other people think.

C2 weighs 1084 kg. Dave George weighed his 206 GTi and it came in at 1070kg. So you could say I have looked at the facts.

According to EVO figures the 206 is about 0.5 seconds faster to 60 than the C2. So again it looks like I've checked my facts.

Really guys, arguing about .5 of a second........is any one really going to notice??

0-60 times are inaccurate any way because it depends on so many elements, driver, weather, grip, air temp etc, so what's the point in 0-60's anyway.

Don't be so sensitive. Just because you're wrong about something doesn't mean it's ok to insult people.
