The price has gone up a lot somebody mentioned this a few months ago, Peugeot must have seen a big demand for them or there getting low on stock.

Increased costs + high demand = higher price.
Its all about supply and demand, putting the price up makes good business sense

Why bother trying to buy parts from the main dealer anyway, might as well walk in with your trousers down

A lot of parts are actually cheaper from a main dealer, the phase 2 strip just isnt one of those anymore.
Peugeot must have seen a large demand in them to bump the price up like this.
