I'm in really desperate need for a Throttle position sensor for my 1999 GTi 138. It's gone duff and I need the car for Tuesday Night when it's going on the rolling road. I've just bought one but it won't be here till the end of next week 
I'll send someone the postage money for sending it to me first class and I'll even give you a tenenr for your troubles, then send it back to you once my new one arrives. I've tried my local scrappies and they don't have one.

Hella: 6PX 008 476-421

You can also use 307, 406, 607, 806 and expert van, if you know anyone with the 2.0

Where is the throttle position sensor located?
if you have a picture of the location of it then that would be great, i may have one but from a 2003 reg GTi, is that any good?

I sold my GTi about 6 weeks ago, I've got a Fabia vRS now.
