hi, i have a 1.9 d and i was wandering if i can fit a turbo from any other peugeot, i think its the DW8 unit i have and i know i can turn the fuel up, just not sure if i can add a turbo or not. any help would be greatly appreciated

No you cant dont think ,be best to get a turbo hdi probably if you want a turbo that bad

The 1.9 diesel is the most untuneable engine in the 206 range.

you can open the pump you and turn it up a little but you will not get good gaines maybe 1-3 bhp. i know someone who put a xud9 (1.9 turbo diesel) for a 306 into his 206, it swap simple all the had to do was change the down pipe as the old 306 engine had no ecu and will run on the 206 loom and they are good for 120 bhp with the pump turned up. krisb on here and pug306.net will tell you more or do it for you

As he said i have looked into it , as i am planning to do
it with my 206 van
