Jus looked in the haynes and it says (when doing a compresion test) low compresion on the 1st stroke which does not build up pressure during sucsessive strokes indicates leaking valves or blown head gasket .
Then goes on to say . A low reading from 2 adjacent cylinders is almost certainly due to the head gasket having blown between them .
So im going to try get it preasure tested and let you guys know the results.

A compression test doesnt always tell the whole story......there is a varying range of 'symptoms' when a HG fails, all depending at what point the gasket has failed at..............if the HG has failed at a point between the water jacket and an oilway (as sounds the case for your car) you will get 'oily coolant' and 'mayonaise' in the engine but the compression readings will show as 'normal' due to no leakage of compression.

That would most likely be a valve that has failed (burnt out) or a valve spring broken.
