looks ok, my missis had one about 5 years ago i could never fit in the drivers seat so didnt drive it far
from what i remember the 1.7 vvt was quite quick for 130bhp car

Yeah its not too bad for what it is, I do agree with it being realy short of space. there's no room for passengers so all my mates hate my car but it does mean I dont have to drive people around much  The wheels in the pic are Lenso's I think and were only 15's but were swapped out for the Racing Puma 17's

125 bhp standard with VVT.
1.7 Ford Zetec S unit, a Ford & Yamaha developed engine.

Apart from the ride hight & stupid little wheels, I love the puma. A future classic the 1.7 I reckon.

I will miss it when it goes, the ride height is very high but it corners really well, so Ford got something right with it. I always thought a Racing Puma would be a great car but they only made 500 so they are getting harder to come by and power wise it's not a great deal better off

My missus has a Puma that she has loved since the day she bought it - brand new - in 2002. She's now at the stage of figuring out what will replace it when the time comes. It's the 1.7 and I get to drive it occasionally. And it always reminds me you can't take off with low revs... 
During the snow, though, she's been taking my 2-litre HDi - she says it just "feels better" on dodgy roads.
Guess it's the extra weight. Not hers, the car

Yeah I was on pumapeople, didn't go on much but it was always helpfull. I have had mine for nearly two years, I got mine with a little less than 17,000 on the clock so it's in good condition, not as good as owning from new but it wasn't far off
