They do look like the wrong offset? How wide are they? Must be 7".

IIRC, the wheel can protrude a certain amount, 15mm?

But he tyre tread must be within the arch.

Sam.

Ah right, cheers for that.
They protrude as much as my previous alloys have and the other month, I got pulled by the police doing a routine stop and all they were doing is checking peoples tyres as it was winter and snow was forcast.
Being a young lad in a slightly modded 206, I got pulled aside as expected.
They didnt say anything. All my tread was alright and they had no issues.

They looked fine this morning - didn't notice any overhang really - the pics exagerate it TBH.

Don't let others knock you or yur car buddy. If it's how YOU want it then it's perfect! I liked it a lot when I saw it. The darker alloys look great on the light body too. Might paint my alloys gunmetal rather than getting new ones. The cyclones aren't my fave wheel but they will be OK.

sorry if you may have thought i was knocking it..
..i wasnt, even in my first post i said how good they looked Very Happy .

as you say, the pics may have made them look out more than what they actually was ( thats why i asked if you could post another couple of pics )

all i was on about in reality, was the fact that mine looked out that much and i was warned about them , but that must be an overprotective fitter giving me bad advice.

keep em on mate Wink

Yeah, I am glad you brought it to my attention mate!
Cheers for that. Deffo something to bare in mind Smile

Recommendations: Do you think I should get rear tints? It'd suit the theme of the car, but most people I know seem to think they're chavy! Dont know why though!

I don't think they are chavvy, I just don't like them and see no need for them. If not done well they can turn the car into a van and if done well they are hardly noticeable... You would need a light smoke on a silver car for my taste and that is just pointless.

lol you may be askin the wrong bloke to be honest mate , im an oldie (47)
so im not "in the know" as regards "cred".
...but on the other hand im still wanting to mod as much as everyone else.

id say formost, if you like it.. sort it.

tbh, ive seen a few lights around and i prefer the led ones but i also like the smoked ones with the red line running thru the middle.

other than that stay away from lex@rse Laughing

I see what people mean, they're wasted money. I'll think about it..
Oh yeah, what colour is your 206? black or silver LED lights look nice!
Embarassed I've got Lexar se lights on mine!
ha! they're black ones though, personally, I think they're a vast improvement on the chrome ones!
