Hi All,
Has anyone experienced problems with there 206 gti 180 when they first start it up then go to brake?
My brake pedal was solid and the brakes did not want to stop me.
Its done it a couple of times and now my brakes dont feel 100%.
Any help would be great.

Sounds like you've got a brake servo fault, maybe a split pipe or the one way valve in that pipe is sticking, or it's the servo it's self!

What condition are the pads and discs, including rears. When was the brake fluid last changed? Should be every two years.

If the servos not working the pedal goes hard! a good way of testing is to, pump up your brake pedal afew times, then hold pressure on, then start the engine, if pedal creeps down then your servo works.

I really hope you ain't working on your own car's brakes, you have already given out 2 wrong pieces of wrong advice on this forum to do with braking systems

My brake pedal can be solid when using it first time, after that its normally fine!
Think I'm due a brake fluid change, that might help...

If you have a leak in your Master Cylinder, would they not go soft?
