I bought a 206 a few months back but it was missing the headlight levelling motors for both headlights. I've bought the motors online but can't fit them correctly - as soon as I apply any pressure to the socket the headlight just falls forward into the headlight unit.
I've removed the headlight bulb itself and have tried reaching through into the unit to apply pressure from the other side but nothing seems to work. Have also tried heating the socket and the ball joint on the levelling motor to make the plastic more malleable but again no luck.
Has anyone successfully performed this procedure before? Hope you can help.

You have to screw the adjuster so it's fully extended. Then you have to silde it in the recess from the side.
It's pretty tricky & I snapped one of the ball joints off
It worked! I never noticed you could manually extend the joint. I can't thank you enough I've been trying this for ages and couldn't find any info online about it. Cheers!
