Ok, not a massive issue but still a bit annoying.

Turn the engine on and the needle shoot to red then comes back to rest on 70 and then plunges off the end of the scale like it does when the ingnitions off.

Ive just had the battery changed.

Happens to me now and again, got a new temperature sensor to put it, hopefully that'll sort it for me lol

Does it just do it when you start the car, then works fine after that?

When you do a test to see if its working right, thats what the needle does.

your not getting a earth off the cable are you mate???

If your getting an earth then the first bit of power will go to the gauge then straight off down the earth???
