hello to all. I have got a problem but i no what it is but not sure if can do anything about it.
Iv got a 206gti 140 and the positive to the battery is a little lift up clip to disconnect it good idea in theory. but when im driving hard its tends to work loose then when i have stoped turned engine off, try to start again its dies, look under the bonnet and the clip has worked itself loose! so then put it back on the off i go. Is there any way you can get the old stye with wit a 12mm nut and thread to hold it on or am i just going to have to live with it?
Any help would be excellent Smile

easily change it, snip it then wire up the new one, or you can find out why its doing it!!! most probably because its an aftermarket battery, where the terminals are a little lower then orignal!! if you cut out the black plastic to ensure a tight fit for the positive, it will work fine!!

Never had a problem with the quick release clip, a small amount of foil wrapped around the the + battery terminal should make the clip fit tighter.

Think yourself lucky Peugeot no longer fit the w***y screw on earth connections to the battery, they where seriously s***e! Laughing
