my 2003 2ltr hdi is making a noise when it gets warm that sounds a bit like bearings or similar- did have the cambelt and pulleys done last week but mechanic checked the belt and said its fine -
its not mental but its worrying me -as i have a 250 mile round trip tommorow - car has done 50 already making the noise and has no obvious probs other than that
me thinks it is the alternator bearins as it is comoig from that general direction and is only doing it when warmed up
any ideas?? Sad
