Try and activate it via the switch, if that doesn't work, you'll need to check the BSI settings.

Would love it on mine! Car jackings going up and the like. It will make my wife feel safer. Unfortunately I have just the single hazard switch. Will have to go and have a play with my dads 2006 model.

i just plugged in the split switch again and although the hazard works fine, the manual activation of auto-lock doesn't work for me.

if i remember correctly, my friends car (which has this feature from the factory) had an option in pp2000 to change it, whereas mine doesn't. will have another look over the weekend.

Only the later BSI's can autolock, something to do with extra circuity from around 2005, same as the fold mirrors on lock / unlock & rear wiper in reverse.

You can activate autolock with PPS on the earlier BSI but it wont work.

Iirc it states this in the cars manual.

I held mine down for about 5 secs but you will be told it's on when the car makes an audioable "bong"

I have to put it back on after every service

Originate, don't duplicate.
