Right me car clonks at low speeds or stationary when turning. I know tht i need to change the top mount bearings and droplinks, what i am wondering though is do you need and special tools ro change the top mount bearings and how easy is it to do. Cheers

all the tools you need will be those used to take out the strut+ spring clamp

saves faces Wink well not in the case of my mate when clamp slipped off and spring broke his nose Shocked lol

If i have coilovers will spring clamps be needed and does the entire strutt need to be taken off the car or can it be done while still bolted to the car

Of course you'll need spring compresses unless you are Mr muscle man Laughing
And yes the entire strut needs to come out of the car and onto the floor

most coilovers you dont need compressors if you wind them down 1st, i have never used a 206 coilover that has need them yet. or anyother make i have done yet.


yes take it out all the way so you can make sure the bearings in right when putting back together,
