Ever since I fitted my 180 alloys there has been a whistling noise coming from the front drivers side, have tried to ignore it but on the way home from work it turned into a squeeky noise, know its something to do with the wheels as when i increased speed the so did the squeeky noise, any ideas what it might be? Please be good news as can't get it sorted for another 3 weeks and need the car for work

Could be but not sure, things like that I don't really know about, it's only the drivers front so if it is a bearing it must have been on its way out already if it is that

Well I guess that is cause by your brake pads on the driver side, sometimes some of the pads touch the disks while u r driving by something came out while it been worn out.
Or
Maybe your disk on the driver side, have unleveled surface which makes it touch the break pad from the highest point in it which goes louder when speeding.

Had the front discs and pads changed exactly 5 weeks ago, been to garage this morning and the guy had a look, not the wheel bearings, which is a good sign, did say the ball joints are slightly loose so it could be the weight of the wheels and the loose balljoint causing the noise
