Hi guys recently in the past 3 weeks my peugeot has developed a annoying whining noise but only when i go over 60 it comes from the drivers wheel and is a loud whining noise any ideas guys on what it could be ps i know my wheels need balancing but could it be anything to do with that. Thanks page

Could probably be the wheel bearing Jack car up hold onto wheel one Hand In 10 oclock and the other hand at 4 o'clock, wobble and see I'd there is any play at all.

sounds like bearing to me get it checked and changed asap

normally make a humming noise tho?

take it for a run and see if the wheel gets hot could be the brakes a binding Confused
