i went out for a family bday meal tonight and when i got out to the car to drive back it started but then started then seemed like it was gunna die as the revs got low spluutered so i gave it some revs and it went up then done sam again and died.i started up again and started to drive and stopped to see if it did it when idle but it didnt does any one have any ideas on what it could be. its a 51 plate gti138.

Not gunna lie i wouldnt have a clue. I take it u mean turn key wait for few secs and a few noises then start. As if u mean thati dont know as i wasnt payin attention and cant remember. Lol.
I am on my phone to i will ave a look in the morn thanx any way tho.

Ok cool well i will ave a try in the morn if its of will look into cleaning icv as somethin to do if i does it again i will clean it sooner. Lol
