Alright people,
Was going to flush out the radiator today and fill her back up. Went to open the drain screw on the radiator and there isn't the "tap" :/
Was just going to take the bottom pipe off, but surely that's going to prevent me from bleeding it

I think Bon did a 'how-to' Lee - think you just pull off the bottom hose and drain the radiator.

you have to take off the bottom pipe......i had to repaire a hole in my rad friday, i thought someone nicked my tap untill i noticed it was a blank......when you refill it tho you gotta take of the dust cap on the hose going into the bulkhead to bleed it...

Yeah I think I read in a guide somewhere on here... it mentioned to loosen the bottom hose but not remove it as it can be a PITA to get back on apparently.

Strange that there is no drain plug. With the drain plug it's easy to keep it all tidy and controlled then draining it but without it the only option is to remove the hose and watch 5 litre of coolant spill everywhere. Keep the reservoir cap on and it will come out slower.

Yeah I've seen the guide, was just wondering if there was a "trick" to emptying it without getting a face full of coolant. I'm already covered in oil, brake fluid and diesel

Keep your mouth shut, make sure the coolant isnt to hot & have a free shower as it drains out
Try not to swallow any
