So all the problems on my car are happening now, mileage is around 87k on a Y reg, engine mangement light is on and all the lights on the dash sometimes come up, drop links are knocking, play in the wishbones. Just getting fed up with it now and im not sure if its worth doing? do i just keep it and get it all sorted or try sell up? Just need some opinions really :/

Yeah of course! Its a tidy looking car thats just needing a little bit of work, the engine management light could be something really minor, get it checked out and see.

It's not like there expensive or hard jobs to fix,
If cars running the light probably can't mean much?? Not like that's expensive to check anyway,
To round it up, fix it keep it IMO,

Ebay spares or repairs, a mechanic would buy it cheap & fix it up.
Mate of mine who works at a garage got a tidy V reg 106 1.1 cheap the other week, owner decided to scrap it because it wanted a clutch

Where did he get that from? Only asking because I know someone who had (havent spoken to her in ages) a 1.1 106 and it needed a clutch and she was considering scraping it.

Ah right ok then. This one was deffinatally a woman, she told me she was going to the scrap yard to get a clutch as a new one was £200...

At a guess your 206 is slammed?
Hence why the bottom arms are gone, drop links are only £15 off egay
Standard height they sit like this: |_____ _____|
Lowered they sit like this:
|_........... _|
...-_ _-
Ignore the full stops, they space everything out
This puts more pressure on the bushes, ive killed one in about 3 weeks

Drop links and wishbones are a pretty easy and cheap job tbh.
For a mechanic it would take 1hr30mins max.
These are the sort of things you can do yourself without much trouble.
As for the EML, you need to have it plugged in to give you an idea where to start.
I think if the EML is nothing major you should get it fixed. Then when its all fixed see how you feel about selling it.
