So I bought a pair of speakers for my JVC KD-R301 but they are both setup as left speakers when I tested it with the balancer, there is no output from the speakers when balanced right but output from both speakers will balanced left so they are obviously both left speakers.

I AM REALLY SORRY if this is a STUPID question but how do I make one of the left and other one as right?

most stereos have the ability to run 4 speakers 2 front 2 back, maybe someone wired it up wrong so you have only used the left wires from the back and front, instead of the left and right

as said above, speakers are not "left and right" they are both exactly the same (either can be left and either can be right) car stereo's can run 4 or sometimes even 6 outputs (three for left and three for right) you just have both speakers plugged into left outputs on the back of the headunit Smile its a simple fix

Your not playing music that is set as mono rather than stereo are you?

I've got that problem with some of the 'acquired' albums I have
