Might be a stupid question, but I have an 03 plate 1.4 and I dont know if its an 8v or 16v. How can I tell? thanks

Look at the 6th, 7th and 8th letters of your Chassis number
KFW - 1.4 8v EEC 95 depoll engine
KFX - 1.4 8v EEC 2000 depoll engine
KFU - 1.4 16v

cheers, just looked its KFW, just out of interest what's the difference between the 95 and 2000 depoll engine?
