Okay, posted a while back that I had a misfire, after changing coil pack twice, and spark plugs. Still got a problem, and the garage who are using pug diagnostics say there's not a single fault coming up.

They said it seems like a problem with an injector. But there obv having problems finding out which with the diagnostics not reporting it.

Any advice on this situation?

Common fault is number 4 injector being faulty due to water ingress. For peugeot engines number 4 is nearest the cambelt. Good way to find out which cylinder it is that is misfiring is to take off the exhaust manifold heat shield off. Then start the engine and before it gets to hot put a few drops of water on each of the exhaust manifold branches and then watch to see on which branch the water doesnt evapourate off. The one it doesnt evapourate off is where the problem lies. Done this twice on two separate cars and worked both times.

On my car i did this and found that it was the injector on number 4 cylinder that was faulty, again on mine no fault codes were coming up. Swapped the injector for cylinder number 1's and the misfire followed which confirmed that i needing a new injector.

Hope that helps.

Yeah I've heard if of the whole injector number 4 story's. I'm gonna wait for garage to phone back and see what they find. But it's just so annoying.
