You need to clean, polish and wax the red fairly often to keep it looking good, otherwise yes it does fade and looks gash.

I've just spoke to the guy and asked him about the fault code on the pic and he said there's nothing wrong with the car, and then said wait a sec I think it was a traction control fault lol alarm bells!

I cleaned my silver gti about 3 times a week lol so should be able to keep on top of the colour

I don't know, I'm going to view both tomorrow, I will decide then, I don't mind buying a car that's got a fault or two as I actually like sorting stuff out lol

that blue is augean blue same as my car dude...... i say buy 2 if you cant decide, than track one and keep the other as daily driver lol. hope your doing good bud
