i was hoping i had a bad start at first so i came back later in the day to try starting up the car. it didnt vibrate so bad this time in fact it felt normal except for the engine diagnostic light. turned the car off, tried again for the 3rd time and this time no catalytic converter fault but a new one! APF.

so is removing 1 injector at a time a foolproof way of finding which is the injector at fault? is it easy to swap it myself?

Well if its not shaking anymore then it might not be injectors, could be coilpack playing up, sensors coming loose, the sensors on the cat coming loose or need replacing.
You need to get the car put on a diagnostic code reader, it will tell you if its misfiring, which was my problem

At very least get them to code read it, then if the code is something obvious fix yourself, if not get the garage to do it.
Or yes look at getting a suzuki sierra, or something, because they never break down Rolling Eyes
