I thought my battery had died and needed replacing, so i checked it with a multimeter and it's coming up with between 11.2 and 12.6 v.
This made me think it could be the starter motor, I have no idea where that is on my car, but i'd read if you put the car in high gear and rock it back n forth it can jolt the starter in to starting so i did that....
still doesnt start and now comes up with economy mode on the read out....
maybe time to bite the bulliet n let a garage sort it $$$$$

If you RTFM you will find thats perfectly normal, you need to start the engine to get it back out of economy mode

Come on! if half the people on here RTFM there wouldnt be a forum!
And with the starter sounding like it's gone i don't think it's going to start to easily.

If the battery voltage is below 12.25V with ignition-off, it's had it.
With engine running it should be around 14V if the alternator is working correctly.
