Strange. Sons' car 1.4 206 LX on an 03 plate pulls to the left under acceleration and steers right when you take your foot off! Most noticeable between 60 and 70mph. Left near side tyre's quite worn on outside edge. Tracking out possibly but the car was fine 2 months ago so what would upset the tracking so suddenly?

1 good smack against a kerb or down a pothole would be enough to knock the tracking out.

Hi
i would suggest you get the ball joints/bushes tyre pressures and tracking checked first. if those are all ok then you could end up going down the same route as me.
2 new wishbones 3 if you count the one just over 3 months old and still looks like new
2 new drop links
2 new track rod ends
2 new pich bolts for the hubs
Good luck
Kev

I had this problem and it was the bushes nearest to the bulkhead on the lower suspension arm

I had the problem on my corolla the other year after the g/box was changed (don't worry it wasn't the box causing it) because the retards at the garage failed to tighten up the suspension arm correctly. I'd be very surprised if it was anything other than a worn bush or something left loose, possibly after the tracking was done?

| This 206 IS going on a trackday despite it's every effort to stay at home in the garage! | |

I would like to add after trawling many posts on this subject that replacing the wishbone to hub nut and bolt with genuine parts appears to have solved my issues.
