well ive been looking for a 206 tourisme so fleebay was first option and thair is a couple so went to view x1 as it was local after a long chat on the phone we went to see it with a 99% chance of getting it, pics i got looked mint. so really buzzing.
Anyway got to the car what a shiter it turned out to be, description was a load of s**t well most of it..
It said refurb rear beam (no one from a scrappy WHICH WAS LOWERD ABOUT 50MM..
front was normal hight
needed new bottom arms or drop links
paint was awfull scratches all over
boot was leaking (soaking wet as was rear seats)
engine bay was a mess missing covers ect (supposed to of had cam belt fitted but why not aux belt..
best bit it has been unrecorded rear damage passinger rear quarter & boot, it had been repaired quite good but not good enough...
I think the fella was a bit gutted when my other half started removing rubbers ect...
GUTTED really as car looked so good aswell...some people ey why not just tell the truth, saves the hastle really

I guess sellers hope for stupid people that dont know what they are looking at.

Most 206's of that age are well past their best. Most GT's aren't worth paying extra for over the cost of a GTi.
