well i bought my 206 GTI 3 days ago and took it for its mot and it failed on the following items

offside front headlamp aim too high
Nearside front headlamp aim too low
Offside front Direction indicator incorrect colour
nearside rear registration plate lamp bulb not working
nearside front track rod end ball joint has excessive play
Anti-lock braking system warning lamp does not illuminate
nearside front ( TO REAR) brake pipe excessively corroded
offside front (to rear) brake pipe excessively corroded
nearside inner brake discs in such a condition that it is seriously weakend
offside inner brake discs in such a condition that it is seriously weakend
it also needs 4 wheel nuts as previous owner removed his locking nuts and the cat fitting for emissions apart from that it was not a bad buy yesterday.

don't think it was a bad fail and have sent it into the garage i got it mot'd with to have all the MOT work carried out costing me £300.00 for all repairs to be carried out, will be going to pick it back up again Wednesday dinner time cant wait to get it back.
all i have to do then is get my bonnet sprayed up and give it all a polish and a good clean out and ill be happy.

yeah can get a carbon fibre bonnet off the internet for it but there best £250 to £300.00 hence why i thought about wrapping it then glossing over top of it to stop it coming uncovered. and yes lol was quiet a random poll but why not lol i am a random person Wink

this is the second time i have seen a 2 page long failure, last time it was on a mondeo, i cant believe how the previous owner let it get into that condition, even the alloys was rubbing on the wheel arch liner and have asked the garage to put spacers on if possible, i have only driven this car twice now once to bring it home and sencond to take it back to the garage for repairs and loved it, they didnt even fail it on the number plates as they are illigal for it but i aint saying owt it saves me money.
