think its going to more trouble than its worth, have you tried looking for a tailgate with no spoiler attached??

i had a saxo that had the number plates stuck on, tried to remove them with fishing line as i got a private plate and it actually pulled the paint off the car..... had to have the boot painted in the end grrrr

just my 2p

There isn't one. Tigerseal is almost possible to get off, you'll either snap your spoiler or more likely just rip the paint off

Im sure I read somewhere that you add petrol to something else and it desolves the tiger seal?

Depends how much Tigerseal was used in the first place, if you were a little generous with it then there isnt much hope but if you only used the amount you needed then you shouldnt have too many problems using heat and fishing wire.

maybe, Ive never actually done it lol.

The way we took my spoiler off was jam a screwdriver in and rip it off. That was when i was swapping the tailgate though, and the original was wrecked. Would have been ok if we put another spoiler on though.

I removed a spoiler once with a big knife. You would have to sand the tigerseal off the tailgate though and then repaint that top section.
