Ive just bought a flip key, had it cut and fitted the chip from my old key.
The key now unlocks and locks the car.
Also turns the ignition on and the car will turn over, but won't start the car.

If I use my spare original key, it fires straight up.

Any help?

Cheers ben

Ahh, thank you.

My section in the new key means the chip has to sit on edge, but I'm sure it will be fine.

Thank you Smile

My flip key did this, kept coming up with immobilisor fault, and I had put the little chip for the immobiliser in the flip key, changed it all back to my original key and it's been working fine ever since
