Ok got me a nice CC
Somewhere in it's life the drivers mirror has been smacked resulting in the body been smashed,a previous owner has done a good job of sticking it back together,BUT it looks a mess
So I'm after a new one, queston is are the CC mirrors unique or will other model mirrors fit?
It's electric heated but manual fold

Second Q
It needs new pads & discs but as i've discovered there's about 3 million different combinations!!
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
It's an 03 206 CC 1.6 16v

TiA

Yes I own a CC and I'm neither gay or a hairdresser!!

I dont see why mirrors off a hatchback wouldnt fit. Unsure of what hatchback models have heated mirros though, possibly the 180...

For the mirrors, you can get them off any model with electric mirrors, but there are two kinds of plugs on the loom in the door, one of which is white and the other i think is black, so the plug on the new mirrors will need to match! You can get the gti ones which are gloss black or the xsi or lx etc with electric mirrors but they will probably be the standard black plastic colour

the dicks and pads, you will need to find the size of the disks you have on at the minute and match the sizes

Shut it u stupid little f**k, what's the point in posting in all my treads being such a c***? Least I can afford a gti180, and to get the cam belt done!

So apparently everyone knows my financial situation? If I wanted a 180 I would have bought a 180 simples Smile

The garage
2003 - 206 GTi 138 - Moonstone Blue
2003 - 406 Coupé 2.2 HDi SE - Hyperion Blue
2000 - 206 2L HDi D-Turbo ECO - Cherry Red
1999 - 306 GTi-6 - Blue (haven't worked out if it's Nile or China yet)
1987 - 205 GTi 1.9 - Graphite Gray

I think most models have hte heated mirrors, to check you can put the rear demister on and see fi they gets warm as that button also activates the mirrors heat function Razz

You need mirrors off a CC as the base plate is different.

Discs are more than likely Ø266x22mm, tell me your chassis number for a guarantee.

Or check if you have two brown wires going to each mirror.

Check out the buypartby.co.uk site for brake discs and pads ... they are reasonably priced too!!! I got our CC front discs and pads from them (QH discs/Mintex pads) but that's a 2.0 ... I think the brakes are the same though on the 1.6 although Peugeot fit different makes and types ...

If you've got the pads with the small spring clips that hold them in the caliper, then they are the same MDB2584 (mintex numbers).

Down to just the 1.4 HDi. Cayman Green 2.0i CC sold.
