How easy is it to fit a new idle control vlave? Where is it located in the ph1 Gti engine and is there anything else required after it is installed? Been quoted £197 to supply and fit a new unit but seen them online for less than £30 and if it's an easy job, i'd rather do it myself and save myself alot of money

Screwdriver to undo the jubilee clip on the plastic throttl ebody cover. Then 2x torx screws to get the ICV off. Get some carb cleaner to blast out the hole it sits in.
I've got one somwhere. Fancy it for £10+postage? I'm never going to use it.
