Well a rust topic on 2004 206 gti 180 sure most other models will be the same..
my partner and i were inspecting a new gti 180 we purchesed and came across some serious corrosion in front wheel arches right on seams we checked the old trackie and that was even worse.. must be common ...
pics will follow... some time today really shocked with outcome...

yer and on x2 cars if i had a 3rd ide check that aswell.. 206 gti 180 03 plate gti180 04 plate... both same places..

It's common to have some corrosion there. Although to have perforated the whole way through is a bit bad.

How long is the anti perforation warranty on these? That might still be covered...if the warranty hasn't been voided that is.

Doesnt there have to be a yearly inspection at a Peugeot main dealer for the anti perforation warranty to be valid?
