i bought a peugeot 206 1.4 hdi (04 plate) for my son a few weeks ago as he passed his test, lately when driving i get airbag light, engine management light coming up and the speedo etc stops working...normally speedo kicks in again and all lights go out bit on the odd occasion one or both lights stay on, and every now and again when i get into the car it wont start? change battery in key fob as this wasnt working but the central locking still doesnt work with the fob...only works with the key.
can anyone advise me please

High intensity discharge lighting, I had similar problems before when my hids had a hissy fit, had all the warning lights come up an speedo cut out.

Have you checked the battery (or had it tested by someone)? Old/Knackered batteries are known to make 206's throw wobblers.
I think Halfords do it for free?

HID=Xenon headlights.
I agree with guys here,you need to check the battery to see if it's in good/bad condition,you can read the manuf. date,if it's more than 3 years old then you need a new one,because diesel engines is heavy to start and consume lots of energy,which makes the battery life shorter than petrol engines.
When you start the car,do you see any of these lights coming on when you start it?

You tried to resync it with the car.
Start the engine.
Press & hold the LOCK button on the remote fob for a few seconds.
Switch the engine off, get out & shut the door, now try the remote.
