need to do my rear shocks...is it just a case of doing it with car on the ground 1 at a time..or does something need to be held/jacked or what ?

stick it on axle stands and work from the floor. 4 big bolts

I was wondering the other day actually can worn shocks case the back of the car to sag or not?

Isn't it the torsion bar that holds up the rear of the car, not the shocks? The shocks just suppress any bouncing.

the shocks do the damping. If the rear is bouncing too much its the shocks.

aint done my shocks yet because i hate the cold...will do it when i get a half decent day...
query is i got a noise from the rear...sounds kinda like...if you had a buckled board on the floor of a tranny van lol
had coilovers on my vectra-c...had same noise..sold on coilovers and got told that the rear shocks were f*****
does this sound like shocks ?
