So mine were crap so i went and brught a set of flat blade ones, thes didn't touch the edges of the screen so i assumed it was just the flat blade ones, i've just been out and brought a standard pair and am having the same problem any idea or do i have to go direct to peugeot and but them at £15 a side?
I'm going to take the new ones back and complain that they don't fit the windscreen and try and get my money back

Sounds about right no problem with them.
What size did you get in the flat blades?

For normal blades you need 22" for passenger side and 21" for drivers side.

They were 22/22S but about an inch of the blades are not being used, i'll take them back and get a smaller one on the drivers side, but if i get a smaller size will it still clear the rain sensor?

The problem your asking about is NORMAL for the 206 windscreen, there's NOTHING wrong with it, its just a quirk of the design curve of the glass.

So it won't fail the MOT because it doesn't clear the windscreen effectivly?

Its only about the first 9" / 12" inches right on the end of the blades sweep on the edge of the drivers side of the screen.
Its a built in design quirk
