Hi guys I think Ive done something really stupid. I installed a headunit and took it out again to change the wires over. I thought this would be an easy job so i left the headunit plugged in. somehow i think ive managed to short circiut the system. now when i start the car it doesnt!! sidelights come on and the windscreen wiper starts. only my right side hazards come on. car does not start. also my central locking from key fob does not operate. i am a complete novice and an idiot. any suggestions or ideas . im at work at the moment so will have to look at it a bit later. i am desperate here i need the car by tonight. any help would be greatly appreciated.

I shorted my brothers headunit the other day but he has a clio sport, turned out to be a fuse. His car did start though, i'd say have a look in the fusebox first.

Yep check all the fuses. Wouldn't help to carry a few spares with you for the next time you fancy doing some diy, lol.
