Trouble with ceiling light inside.

They will not turn on when I open a door or turn off the car as it should. The switch on the ceiling is set for them to do so, but it does not help. The lights do work for when I change the switch so that they will be constantly on, they do. Have checked the fuse and it's not blown.

The question is: How do I get the lights to turn on when I open the doors or turn off the car? Perhaps it is wrong with the switch?

Many thanks for all your help!

considering he posted a couple hours about a central locking problem, guessing the immobiliser or the fusebox, disconnect car batter (search proper procedure for it on forum) and check your fuses inside at the steering wheel and under the bonnet, then reconnect the battery if nothign found and maybe in that time the immobiliser might come to its senses Smile
