Nah not really, but any bodyshop will be able to mix it up and spray it not hard at all if you want the same colour. Could even do it yourself if you had the environment for it.
As appose to cleaning? No difference if it is sprayed well really but powdercoat is tougher and lasts longer, like a plastic coating

Where are you talking about?
City powder coasters in brum have a set of about 50% of the colours they do to look at but they only have two shades of anthracite.
I had these done for a guy on here, I can't remember his name but this was the darkest anthracite they did. Not sure if the next step up is black or not. Personally I wouldn't go there though they do provide a good price but unless I'm mistaken they don't let you choose the gloss level and don't have a huge amount of colours.
I don't think it's dark enough though

Hmm, your not making this any Easier now Harry haha, were them alloys powder coated or sprayed? I'm in 2 minds atm as I want a durable finish so it doesn't start flaking/peeling off ect but I really want them done in the sample colour witch is 'vahaxhall insignia' dark greyish I'll look into the exact paint code and give a few local firms a call, as by the time I've done all the traveling to city coaters I would of used £30 in petrol haha

That was powdercoated at city powdercoaters yeah
To be honest it takes trial and error to know which ones to go to and which to stay away. Well sprayed wheels will be fine, but will cost quite a bit more than powdercoating. Unfortunately the best way is to just go in and ask with a picture because over the phone it's just going to get a tad confusing.
If you want that sort accuracy painting is probably the way to go.

I've had a re think I love the TD pro race 1.2 and they are gloss black so think ill just get the same sort of finish as them. @ around £100 to refit and balance the tyres can't argue with that.
Ill just wait till I'm working near or going past bham.

The prices are very good, especially as they sandblast and dip them as well.
I had a swing arm for a motorbike done in gloss black by them, it is good but very shiny.
Oh and just leave it a couple of weeks. Even if they say it will be done in a few days it will just end up being another day and another...

Yer I've heard a bout there time keeping lol, I think I'd like to go a tad darker than your old grey alloys, as I don't want really shinny black rims as I don't like the look, had a quote from a local firm in Telford and wanted £220+vat so I think I'll just go for a bargain price Powdercoat. Ill have a look what colours they do closer to what I want.

I would say they were a tad darker than in the picture but I really can't remember to be honest
That sounds about right. Painting simply just needs far more man hours putting into it to get the same quality finish. Is there anywhere else you could go? Personally I go up stoke these days the guy is nice lets me sit in his office with a flip chat looking at all the colours haha
