I had this recently, turned out to be the pas pump and aux belt pulley.

Just spoke to a mate who is a manager at a motor factor and he can get me the idler and tensioner pulley on it's own so will see how it all goes.

Anyone changed the tensioner and idler before? Was the best way of doing it and do I need any special tools or just a spanner and socket set.

Solved! Pulley and tensioner replaced now she purrs beautifully!
