How many amps do you need? There are tons of stuff available.
I have a proper 12v DC converter lying around..
Lots of devices use big transformers that output 12v.
Like I said, s**t loads of stuff.
^^^ Two 12v LED strips ran off a transformer that came with a modem. Chopped the terminal off and connected to LED's (it had amps needed) and boom!

Going to be used to test my LED Circuit at first, hoping the battery will suffice, only plug I can find at home is a 10v Modem one unfortunately.

Worse comes to worst, wire up 8 AA's in series

Why the face? 1.5v each. In series means voltage gets added up. 1.5 x 8 = 12
12v supply and it's for LED's so not exactly high amps unless you're running lots of them.
