Hi Guys,

We are having trouble with our coolant engine fan on our 2001 206 xsi. The fan isn't coming on at all, we tried blasting the a/c but that didn't make it come on and the car is getting a little hot when stuck in traffic because is not kicking in then either. My hubby is good with most things car related just not very clued up on electrics unfortunately.
When he had a look earlier he pulled out what we think are the resistors(the green things lol) and the pins were really corroded on both but also if you look on the photo I've attached one of the wires going into the bottom one seems shredded. Sorry for the lack of technical speech lol. Could somebody please give us an idiots guide as to what other checks we could do and also should we just replace the green bits or the whole thing? Thanks in advance
Emma
