Hi all,

Was so impressed with the GF's 206 I decided to get myself one.

Largely it's in good nick apart from a few bits and bob's which I've been sorting out today.

One problem, the driver seat base cover, the stitching has come loose showing the foam. I under that you can separate the seat into its constituent parts but have no idea how Razz

Ideally I'd like to get the base off, so I can remove the cloth and repair it. Any suggestions how how to achieve this would be brill!

Thanks,

Just undo the 4 bolts holding the seat in place and remove from car. This method is makes it much easier to tackle. Then just turn upside down and you should be able to see what connects to where. This problem is common with the cloth seats (caused by heavy peeps). I tried the stitching myself but it just kept ripping again.
My advice is to switch to a set of leathers as they're better made.

Honestly, I did do a search. However I came across this in the How-To section, which covers the 180 model but might be applicable to the lesser models - which I'll try tomorrow.
