yes, a remap on that engine is like comparing night and day. yes it takes it to only 90-92bhp but that is over 30% more than what you're used to.
apart from power/torque gains, it irons out most flat spots, with the potential to at least maintain MPG.

i've said before, if there is only one mod to ever do to a 1.4 hdi then make it a remap.

it depends how it's driven after a remap.
when i gave the car to my wife in 2008 she got 10mpg more than i did driving it.

it's a small engined diesel, it'll never be fast but will be better to drive.

pulling out of a junction you'll get up to speed quite a bit quicker, for instance.

do a search on here for 'hdi remap' and the consensus will be the same - you won't regret it.

Leave it the hell alone. All you'll do with any power increasing mod is reduce reliability. Old turbo + increased workload = bill
This 206 IS going on a trackday despite it's every effort to stay at home in the garage!

i sold mine after five years of being remapped with the same turbo, clutch and gearbox - pays to get it tuned somewhere reputable also.

You should do some other mods before a remap, like a performance panel filter, decat or dpf removal.
I did it on my 1.6 and the difference was like night and day.

- Sinature removed due to size.
Please feel free to upload one of the correct dimensions.

really speaking you should do the remap last in that case but it depends what kind of remap you're getting (will they tweak it to your car, or just upload a file and transaction's over?)
