The seat subframes on my 180 are playing up and need replacing as whenever I move the seat to get in the back it always goes to the rear most position and have to re adjust each time.
Does anyone know if the subframes from the standard GTI model will fit the 180 seats as frames seem very expensive from put.
Cheers
Nick

It's not the subframe if it's the backrest is playing up. The backrest mechanism has gone wrong somewhere, afraid the solution is that you have to strip the seat of its material find the issue and fix it

Sorry i meant when seat has gone forward to allow access to rear, as you push it back it travels to the rear of the sliders so you have to use the bar underneath to bring yourself forwards again.
